In 2021, we reached a turning point where yesterday’s scientific fiction (science fiction) has, in many cases, already become reality. Scientific and technological research always impacts our daily lives—sometimes with a delay. This also applies to the effects of international space and aerospace research. As a result, today’s children and young people will be directly affected by today’s space science when they reach adulthood.

That is precisely why the Technical Museum Vienna (TMW) is already turning them into citizen scientists: children and young people conduct research in their own genuine interest, develop visions, question forecasts, and formulate their wishes for the future. In doing so, they become empowered creators and experts of their own future.
